A year ago the oldest of nine singers chose the tour's last stop, a town none of them had sung in, and the hotel. After the concert her bed is made, her bag gone, her key behind the desk. The porter says he bolted the front door at eleven and nobody opened it. At seven they find her two streets away, sitting on her bag by a green door none of them knows. She says she means to be there.
